Who is  Sean Laakso, LMT

Sean is a caring, gentle man with a lot of

compassion and an occasional pun to

tell. He is warm and kind and has a

heartfelt desire to help others reach their

fullest potential for well-being.

He strongly believes that each person

has a body wisdom which knows what is

needed during the massage session.  He

works intuitively with this intelligence to give the type of massage and/or energy work

that is needed at that specific moment in time.

With an interest in massage for 26 years, Sean has taken many courses and has

deepened his understanding of the profound effect that massage and energy work

can have on a person’s well-being.

A certified reflexologist since 1988, Sean studied  with Laura Norman and Associates

in New York City. Since 1990, he has taken several courses at Kripalu Center for

Yoga and health, where he learned Kripalu Bodywork and Energy Flow Balancing.

Sean graduated from the Hudson Valley School of Massage Therapy in Highland,

NY, and he has extensive knowledge in Swedish and Medical Massage as well as

Shiatsu. Sean is a licensed professional and will always treat you with care and

respect.

Sean is currently licensed in Hawai, Connecticut, and NY as a Massage Therapist

and lives on the beautiful 'Garden Island' of Kaua'i. He is a member of ABMP -

Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals and  KHWA  - Kauai Health and

Wellness Association,
